Book That Helped My Son
Over the years, I’ve faced the challenging journey of helping my son learn to manage his emotions and think about his actions. For any parent going through this, the struggle can feel overwhelming. I often felt lost and worried whether I was doing the right things to support him. Add in his sensory processing differences, and it can sometimes feel like a small storm ahead. I’ve tried almost everything I could: researching many kids’ books and trying different approaches. The one book that truly made a difference and that he loved was "What Should Danny Do" by Ganit and Adir Levy. This book empowers children with the idea of choice. It starts with Danny having to choose between right and wrong, but the fun part is that your child gets to choose the outcome. Watching them decide and see how their choices affect the story can be a joyful experience. It’s definitely worth checking out. Here is an Amazon link. Happy reading!
